Mauritania - Tortue LNG project

For the construction of breakwaters at the Tortue LNG project in Mauritania BONTRUP delivered WideGrade® product originating from Bremanger Quarry in Norway.

The rock was delivered by BONTRUP to the transhipment site of our customer Eiffage via feeder vessels and subsequently transhipped into belt unloader BONTRUP Pearl which in turn transhipped the product into a dedicated fallpipe vessel for offshore installation.

This challenging project especially in terms of shipping and logistics was successfully executed in full compliance with the requirements of the project owner, a leading oil major.
