The Asfalt Recycle Bedrijf ARB) is a young and dynamic organization located in the Port of Amsterdam. We transform ZOAB milled asphalt into high-quality aggregate materials. Through high-quality recycling, we reduce the need to extract primary raw materials and contribute to the realization of a circular economy. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Machine Operator to join our team.
What you will do
As a Machine Operator at ARB, you will work with the team on the production process every day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the wheel loader and crawler crane (Volvo L150/L220 & Cat 336).
- Operating the equipment and monitoring the production process.
- Daily maintenance of the facilities, machinery, and grounds.
- Identifying, preventing, and resolving malfunctions during the production process.
- Assist with (major) maintenance.
Who are we looking for
- A proactive and independent work ethic.
- Experience in the recycling industry as a machine operator and/or operator is preferred.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to our ongoing quality improvement efforts.
- Flexibility regarding availability; some of the work takes place outside of office hours and on weekends.
- Strong communication skills
- A drive to make the best of it together with colleagues.
