Sand delivery Singapore - TUAS Port Phase 1

Building on the successful cooperation with Jurong Town Cooperation and the success of the first sand delivery from a quarry in the Middle East, Bontrup Logistics was again appointed as the sand supplier for the Tuas Finger Pier 1. The sand - crushed quarry material - is produced on a large scale at Stevin Rock Quarries in Ras Al Khaimah and can provide a solution to Singapore's chronic sand shortage. The sand was shipped to Singapore via large self-unloading bulk carriers and transferred to smaller (split) barges for placement on the job.
