Erosion protection Karan gas field - Saudi Arabia

For maintenance work on Saudi Aramco's offshore Karan gas field in Saudi Arabia, Bontrup Logistics supplied Van Oord with over 50,000 tons of crushed stone. The special ASTM C33 grades were produced at Stevin Rock Quarries in Ras Al Khaimah and loaded aboard the MV Bontrup Pearl at Saqr Port. This self-unloading bulk carrier then used its conveyor system to transfer the stone ship-to-ship to Van Oord's fallpipe vessel MV Bravenes at the port of Ras Al Khaimah in Saudi Arabia for installation on site.
