Asphalt recycling A2 Highway - Boskalis & Van Gelder

In 2019, Boskalis and Van Gelder were responsible for maintenance on the A2 motorway between Utrecht and Amsterdam. Four lanes were renewed with 'ZOAB twinlay fine'.

Sound-Damping
The used asphalt was recycled by the Asphalt Recycling Company (ARB) and Bestone®2-5.6 was used for the top layer to minimize noise.

Over the weekend
Replacing the asphalt was done in one weekend, minimizing inconvenience. To carry out the project , Graniet Import Amsterdam, ARB and several asphalt mixers worked closely together. The strong and good cooperation between these parties resulted in the successful completion of the project.
