Greenbase - Sealing applications

Greenbase has been used as a sealing material in a range of projects due to its very low permeability.

• Sealing tank pits - For making liquid-tight 'bunds' around (oil) storage tanks, applied in several projects by Verwater and KWS
• Sealing canals and streams - Greenbase is used to apply an impermeable layer to the bottom of canals and streams. For example, Greenbase was used to seal the polluted bottom of the Haarlemmervaart canal on behalf of Waternet. In the Veluwe, several high-lying streams have been lined to prevent leakage.
