A57 Highway Neuss Germany

New asphalt pavements were installed by KEMNA Bau Projekte for the maintenance of the A57 Autobahn near Neuss. Around 16,000 tons of Bestone® were used for this purpose to produce AC22 carpet pad and SMA8 overlay. Bestone® is known for its homogeneity, hardness and skid resistance and is increasingly used in Germany for these reasons. The aggregates were transported by barge and processed by KEMNA Andreae Asphalt mixing plant in Neuss.
