Are you our new Assistant Controller (ft)?
You will be assisting:
– with keeping the daily bookkeeping up to date (AP, AR, Treasury)
– in the preparation of (monthly) internal / external reports
– the Financial Controller during the external audit
– with taxes like VAT
– the Financial Controller upon request
Your department
The finance team consists of approximately 35 people and is led by our CFO. The entities have their own local finance experts. A number of colleagues also work at Holding level.
The Assistant Controller will be working from the Bontrup Office in Dubai. The Assistant Controller will work together with a Bookkeeper and Financial Controller, both located at the Dubai office. The Assistant Controller will be reporting to the CFO. On a day to day business the Assistant Controller will work with the local staff.
Candidate profile
• Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting
• Relevant work experience in the field of bookkeeping, management information, preferable at an international company
• Hands-on, pro-active and flexible
• Accurate
• Proven experience working with financial and other information systems (like Microsoft F&O 365, MS office / Excel)
• Fluent in English is required
