Offshore grades: direct delivery from Bremanger Quarry
Bremanger Quarry produces high-quality offshore grades up to approximately 200 mm. The perfect size for Seabed Rock Installation (SRI) in offshore projects.
Various applications
This type of crushed aggregates is used for the foundation (pre-lay) and protection (post-lay) of marine cables and pipelines and erosion protection of offshore wind turbines and artificial islands.
Certified in accordance with EN 13383
Gradations such as Bremanger 1-5 inches, or others in accordance with EN 13383 or HASPRO, are crushed, sieved and tested to ensure consistent and reproducible quality. Bremanger Quarry is externally validated and certified in accordance with EN 13383 (System 2+), ensuring the continued quality and traceability of all hydraulic bricks.
Short turn arounds
The material can be loaded directly onto installation vessels such as Flexible Fallpipe Vessels (FFPV). This allows SRI operations to be carried out with high precision and efficiency. Due to the high loading speed of up to 5,000 tons per hour, short turn arounds are possible. Mooring can be done through the Bremanger mooring system or with Dynamic Positioning (DP) under the loading conveyor, providing maximum flexibility for different types of SRI vessels.
