Vessel BONTRUP Pearl with specialized rock grabs

Transportation of quarry run from Porto Torres, Sardinia, Italy to Vado Ligure, Italy. Our vessel BONTRUP Pearl equipped with specially designed rock grabs transported >400,000 tonnes of quarry run to Vado Ligure for the foundation mound of the new breakwater.

Precision placement

Unique on this project is that BONTRUP Pearl discharged the material straight into the footprint of the new breakwater while anchored off the existing breakwater resulting in the material not having to be re-handled before placement.
