Purpose of the position
You are responsible for actively and enthusiastically shaping and promoting the ESG plans, policies and initiatives within our organization.
You ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and oversee the reporting of non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
On the one hand, you act as a strong sparring partner for the management and working group with regard to the implementation and progress of the ESG program. On the other hand, you are responsible for the close monitoring, reporting and knowledge sharing of the ESG obligations.
In this role you deal with various stakeholders: the managing board, management and colleagues in the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Dubai, United States and Ukraine. And external stakeholders. You work closely with the CRSD working group, consisting of colleagues from the operation.
What are you going to do? You:
• Are the face of ESG and are responsible for promoting this topic both internally and externally;
• Develop and operationalize policy in accordance with the ESG guidelines;
• Develop and operationalize the ESG KPIs and continuously monitors related activities;
• Design and set up the ESG reporting process and ensures its implementation;
• Bridge the gap between different stakeholders and themes in the field of ESG;
• Are able to see and utilize not only the risks, but also the opportunities of ESG for the organization;
• Monitor emerging (inter)national ESG trends and regulations and adjust the organization’s ESG strategy accordingly.
Candidate profile
• You have 7 years of relevant work experience.
• You are experienced in stakeholder management.
• You can work well together, have advisory capacity an analytical mind and have a good dose of persuasiveness.
• You are well informed about current developments in the field of sustainability, climate, energy and health.
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
